Terms & Conditions

About these terms

These terms cover two things: (1) your use of this website, and (2) the conditions that apply when you order food from Beijing Chinese Take Away by phone or in person. By using the site or placing an order, you accept these terms.

The website

This website is provided for information only. We show our menu, opening hours, contact details and location. Menu items, prices and availability can change without notice — the prices and dishes confirmed by us at the time of your call are the ones that apply to your order. We do not take orders or payments through the website.

Placing an order

To order, call 01206 795 600 or 01206 797 747, or come in to 1 Greenstead Road. An order is only confirmed once we have accepted it on the phone or at the counter. We may refuse an order — for example if an item is no longer available, if the address is outside our delivery area, or if we cannot reach you on the phone number provided.

Prices and payment

Prices include UK VAT where applicable. Payment is taken in person on collection, or to the driver on delivery. We accept cash and card. We do not store card details.

Delivery

We deliver within roughly 7 miles of the restaurant. Estimated delivery time is around one hour but may vary at busy periods or in bad weather. You must be available at the delivery address; if we cannot reach you the order may be returned to the restaurant and a re-delivery fee may apply.

Collection

Collection orders should be picked up within 30 minutes of the ready-time we give you. After that we cannot guarantee the food will still be at its best.

Cancellations and refunds

Because food is prepared fresh to order, an order cannot normally be cancelled once we have started cooking it. If something is wrong with your order, please call us on 01206 795 600 the same evening and we will put it right.

Allergens

Please tell us about any food allergies when you order. See our Allergens page for information about the 14 regulated allergens used in our kitchen. Our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, soy, egg, shellfish and other allergens, so we cannot guarantee any dish is completely free from traces.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information shown on this website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
